Part of our extensive collection of interior and exterior glazing, Smart Systems Aluspace is designed for interior spaces, providing the signature look of classic metal doors. Thin profiles, quality glass and a choice of glazing bars, give the beautiful grid-like pattern that makes this style of glazing totally on trend and desirable in both modern or traditional homes and offices.
Aluspace is entirely flexible in its design options, available as single or double doors with or without matching side panels. The internal screens are available in the New York style, as corner or shaped designs and available with integrated single or double doors.
Design and Specifications
Door and screen sizes are flexible and designed for any size doorway. Hinged doors start from just 400mm wide up to a wide 900mm and up to 2200mm tall. Pivot doors up to 2200mm wide and 2500mm high and sliding doors up to 1200mm wide per panel and up to 2500mm high. Glazing is available in 6mm or 8mm single-glazed or up to 18mm thick glass if you need better acoustics. Internal doors come with no threshold, letting flooring run smoothly between rooms.
With excellent product design and quality Smart Systems Aluspace has a crafted mechanical construction, in a selection of frame designs, and flexible sizes on the mullions, transoms and glazing bars, allowing virtually any internal door and screen configuration. Authentic detailing such as the thicker plate behind the handles gives the appearance of original metal doors.
Personalisation Options
Available in the popular black matt finish or in a choice of other single colours, Smart Systems Aluspace delivers on styling, sightlines and quality. For the hardware, designer door handles in a choice of styles, metal finishes and textures finish off the doors with style and the quality expected for internal doors. Matching exterior doors and windows in the steel look provide a complete home solution.
Glass choices are extensive depending on whether the doors require clear or obscure glass. Textured, acid-etched, sandblasted and reeded patters are all available, including the range of Pilkington or Saint-Gobain privacy glass.
