Origin Sliding Doors – a sightline to suit your design

A quality British brand, Origin sliding doors are designed to replace any dated slider with a more modern, secure and energy-efficient door. Classic, contemporary or ultra-slim
Origin sliding doors bring a modern twist to the classic aluminium door design. Choose from Origin OS-77, OS-44 and OS-29 – each offering a slightly different width of mullion, allowing you to select the perfect style for your home. Origin OS-77 boasts a pleasing 77mm middle mullion making it an ideal choice for replacing older sliding doors yet still keeping in with traditional windows.
For something more contemporary, Origin OS-44 offers a slimmer 44mm middle mullion or even Origin’s sleekest option, the 29mm sightline of the OS-29. The three Origin sliding doors options all come with the same quality craftsmanship, making these an elegant and timeless addition. Door panels go up to an impressive 2.6m high.
Security and Energy Efficiency
Every Origin door, regardless of mullion sightlines, comes with the same premium locks, with six locking points, a premium key cylinder and other built-in protective features. Fewer visible attack points are also integrated into the Origin sliding doors design. And as you’d expect, Origin doors come tested to the latest security standards, including Document Q for new build homes and PAS 24:2016.
Insulated aluminium profiles with high-specification glass units ensure Origin sliding doors are energy efficient and help save money on energy bills. Doors come with toughened glass units with a soft-coat low-emissivity coating, warm edge spacer bars and argon gas fill. Depending on the glass type, Origin sliding doors come with U-Values as low as 1.3Wm2K and meet current Building Regulations.
Personalisation Options
Your new Origin sliding doors come in two, three or four panel styles, including double or triple track options. As a result, doors can slide open from each end or the middle on a three/four panel set. Aluminium Doors and Windows Ltd can also work with you to provide a lower sliding door track, providing a reduced step and smoother transition to your patio area, whilst still providing complete weather protection.
Origin handles are of the best possible quality and come in a choice of colours or styles. There is a choice of either integrated handles with the locking system or an architectural bar handle. Colour options are extensive with the full RAL range and glass options include standard units or upgrades to acoustic, enhanced security laminated glass or solar control for doors on South or South-West elevations.
