Choose from single or double doors, with optional top or side panels and opening windows within fixed frame elements. Schüco residential doors can open in or out and come with fully rebated, low set or ramp-type accessibility thresholds.
Depending on the door system selected, Schüco residential doors suit standard or larger sizes openings, with door leaves going up to an impressive 1.2m wide and up to 3.0m high. As a result you can create bigger door openings, side or garden access doors.
Security and Energy Efficiency
Designed with the best possible security features, Schüco residential doors come with premium German Winkhaus locking systems, operated by high security mechanical or automatic locking systems or lever handles on one side or both. Schüco doors are tested to the latest security requirements meeting RC1 or RC2, PAS24:2016 or Document Q for new build homes.
The Schüco residential doors range comes with a variety of profile depth and insulation options, standard or enhanced. Combined with toughened safety glass, having a soft-coat low-emissivity coating, warm edge spacer bars and argon gas fill, double or triple-glazed doors provide excellent energy efficiency. With U-Values as low as 1.1Wm2K or better, these high performance doors comfortably exceed current Building Regulations.
Personalisation Options
The premium materials used in Schüco residential doors also extend to an extensive range of colour finishes. From any of the RAL colours, in satin, matt or gloss shades, up to metallic effect, coloured anodised and textured powder-coated finishes are all available, expertly painted to the best possible colour standards.
Glazing options are also extensive, depending on the overall door design, with glazing up to 53mm possible, allowing double or triple glass, midrails, solid panels, laminated glass integral blinds or acoustic glass units. Door hardware choices are also extensive, not just for the locking options but also for the style and finishes of handles, cylinder escutcheons and hinges.
