You can use the well-designed Exlabesa KD51 doors for all types of residential door installation projects, whether as a replacement for old metal, wood or plastic doors and looking stylish in a new build home or extension. We can custom-build these well-designed doors as single or double doors with optional matching side or top panels. It is even possible to integrate opening sashes within fixed panels.
With door sizes up to 1100mm wide and up to 2200mm high, Exlabesa KD51 doors work well in modern homes where larger glass panels with fewer mullions and transoms are desired. A choice of standard rebated or low thresholds meets required accessibility requirements too.
Security and Energy Efficiency
The excellent styling and design of Exlabesa KD51 doors include premium security features, with the system tested to the latest security standards. Door leaves come with quality multi-point locking systems operated by a stylish and strong lever handle with key locking via a high security cylinder. Internal glazing beads secure the glass units from the inside, preventing the removal of the glass from outside.
Thermally insulated aluminium profiles combine with toughened safety glass, having a soft-coat low-emissivity coating, warm edge spacer bars and argon gas fill. Exlabesa KD51 doors comfortably meet current Building Regulations and are also available with trickle ventilators in the frame head, meeting ventilation requirements. The frame type and overall glass specification determine the U-Values available.
Personalisation Options
Our bespoke-made Exlabesa KD51 doors are customisable to meet most door designs, with glazing bars, midribs, solid panels or a combination of glass and panel. We offer a range of RAL, BS or Syntha Pulvin colours in satin, matt or gloss. All come professionally coated and provide protection for the aluminium profiles and a low-maintenance surface finish.
Glass options include clear glass enhanced security laminated glass, acoustic glass or solar control units. The latest blinds in glass provide additional privacy and shading.
