Fast installation with Exlabesa KLW curtain walling
Designed for low or medium-rise facades, Exlabesa KLW Curtain Walling is a highly-engineered system using slim face mullions in a choice of depths to meet the structural application. These are then capped with a range of cappings. Fully weather sealed and tested to the latest performance standards, our ladder-form curtain walling system is designed for fast site installation, ensuring projects complete faster.
The convenient ladder system allows the curtain walling modules to come in modules and assemble easily on site. KLW curtain walling also integrates fully with opening or tilt and turn casement windows, Exlabesa commercial doors, and accommodates glass or aluminium panels from 28mm up to 34mm.
Insulated, secure and weather-resistant curtain walling
Exlabesa KLW curtain walling comes from one of the global aluminium systems companies, and is expertly fabricated by us on a trade supply only or supply and installation basis. Quality aluminium profiles incorporate a built-in thermal break and are protected with a durable and professionally applied powder coated finish, to the Qualicoat standard. The curtain wall mullions all utilise a 50mm face dimension, giving neat and consistent sightlines from the inside or outside of the building.
The slim nature of Exlabesa curtain walling provides mullions from 50mm deep to 125mm deep, meaning large spans can be supported.
Security and Energy Efficiency
The curtain walling mullion used on Exlabesa KLW Curtain Walling sits at the back of the facade, in front of which is a pressure plate, thermal break and the glass units or aluminium panels. The pressure plate is secured with suitable bolts and capped off at the front with an aluminium powder coated capping in a range of sizes.
Exlabesa KLW Curtain Walling comfortably meets building specifications, with U-Values depending on the overall calculation and glass or panels chosen. With a maximum 34mm glazing rebate, the system can comfortably accommodate thicker glass units, spandrel or insulated panels and suitable Exlabesa inset casement windows. Residential or commercial doors can also be integrated into the system with ease as can aluminium louvres.
Personalisation Options
Our bespoke-made Exlabesa KLW Curtain Walling offers virtually unlimited options for facade design as flat, faceted or corner designs. Raked and gable heads are also possible. Available in the full range of RAL, BS or Syntha Pulvin colours in satin, matt or gloss with a dual colour option also available.
Glass options comprise safety glass as standard, upgraded to laminated glass, solar control, acoustic or customised with manifestation lines.
